#4 — Nike: $20 million a year, for 10 years
The commercial pillar. Haaland signed a 10-year deal with Nike in 2023 that pays about $20 million a year off the field.
It's the kind of contract that provides financial stability for an entire decade, regardless of injury or form. For a player who's still entering his peak, locking in that figure with the world's biggest sports brand is quite a move.
Three pieces to go. And #1 is the biggest of all.

#3 — The other sponsorships: EA Sports, Red Bull, TAG Heuer
Beyond Nike, Haaland has built a solid portfolio: EA Sports (video games), Red Bull, TAG Heuer (luxury watches), and even a Chinese herbal-tea brand, Wanglaoji, for which he promotes Norwegian seafood.
It's an interesting mix — sport, gaming, luxury, and even an exotic touch. Each deal widens his commercial reach to different audiences, inside and outside soccer.
#2 — The unexpected side: the chess empire
Here's the piece nobody expects. Unlike many stars who burn money on cars and mansions, Haaland invests in something improbable: chess.
In 2026, he got involved in a global chess initiative alongside Norway Chess. Together with Norwegian entrepreneur Morten Borge, he co-founded Chess Mates, a company that owns a significant stake in the Total Chess World Championship Tour. Curiously, he avoids flashy luxury — no supercar collection or worldwide real-estate portfolio. It's a more discreet, strategic financial profile than is typical among soccer stars.
And now #1 — the contract that rewrote Premier League finances.
