#4 — U.S.: Katy Perry, LISA, Future, and Anitta
Also on June 12, at SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, the American opening — the most "pop" of the three. Katy Perry was the closing star, and the lineup gathered global names: LISA (of BLACKPINK), Future, Brazil's Anitta, and Rema.
Historic highlight: LISA became the second solo K-pop artist to headline a World Cup opening (after BTS's Jungkook in Qatar), and the first Thai artist and first K-pop woman to do so. Country duo Dan + Shay sang the American anthem. It was the night of global pop stars.
Three to go. And #1 is the most talked-about moment of the three nights.

#3 — The Latin presence: Anitta carrying Brazil
A special mention for the side that most interests the Brazilian audience: Anitta was on the Los Angeles stage, representing Brazil at the biggest event in sport.
Her presence, alongside names like J Balvin and Ryan Castro in Mexico, showed the strength of Latin music at the World Cup — not as a supporting act, but as a headliner. For Brazil, seeing Anitta on a stage with that global reach is a source of pride, and reinforces how Brazilian music increasingly occupies space on the world stage.

#2 — Bocelli and the classical-music moments
Not everything was pop. One of the grandest moments came from Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who sang "DNA," another official 2026 World Cup anthem — alongside singer EJAE (Oscar winner for "Golden"), with DJ David Guetta and rapper Megan Thee Stallion taking part.
It was proof that the trilogy mixed genres: from J Balvin's reggaeton to Katy Perry's pop, from Alanis Morissette's emotion to Bocelli's classical voice. Something for every type of audience, across three nights.
And now #1 — the moment that closed the trilogy and melted hearts.
